Cybersecurity Risk Analyst Series

Navigate the Intricacies of Cybersecurity Risk with Doug Hubbard

Hubbard Decision Research (HDR) is introducing a limited-time series of 5 live courses, taught by Doug Hubbard, which covers HDR’s unique cybersecurity risk quantification methodology. This series of courses utilizes state-of-the-art mathematical and statistical techniques that have been empirically proven to improve risk assessment.

At the end of the series, you will have all the tools you would need to build a comprehensive cybersecurity risk management solution for your company.

Sessions will be held 10AM-12PM CT starting April 18th.

Signups for the training are now live. Sign up now as seats are limited.

3 Online Courses Delivered Through The AIE Academy

                      Online Course 1: Calibration training

You can now measure and improve your skills at subjective estimates of probabilities in the new calibration platform!  During the Calibrated Probability Assessments training, you will learn the techniques behind subjectively assessing the probability of uncertain events and the ranges of uncertain quantities.

This course includes 3-4 hours of self-paced computer-based training (CBT), delivered through HDR’s dedicated Calibration Portal. Once your HDR order is processed, an email will be sent to you with the portal access information.

Online Course 2: Creating Simulations in Excel: Basic

Simulations have been shown to measurably improve estimates, but many decision models currently lack this critical element. Learn how to create simulations in native Microsoft Excel that can lead to better decisions in any field.

The course includes self-paced Computer-Based Training (CBT) with online review questions. Participants will be given useful spreadsheet templates to apply to practical hands-on coursework.

Online Course 3: Creating Simulations in Excel: Intermediate

Running simulations has been shown to measurably improve estimates in uncertain decisions, but how can you run a simulation without complicated software requiring advanced training?

This course teaches participants how to build a powerful tool – a Monte Carlo simulation that calculates thousands of scenarios – using only Microsoft Excel, with no additional training or software required. Not even coding in Visual Basic for Excel, user-defined functions or new Excel add-ons are needed. We only need native Excel using features that are already installed.
